A Great Day in WordPlay photo was taken by Jonathan Kane, the son of Art Kane, who took the original image for “A Great Day in Harlem” in 1958. Sixty-seven poets from the greater Boston area gathered in front of the Multicultural Arts Center in Cambridge, MA, and Jonathan made magic. It really was “A Great Day,” and Jonathan’s presence was truly the son/sun that brightened it.
